Opportunity Bank Serbia is a member of “Opportunity International” – Network of Banks and microfinance organizations which was founded in Chicago in 1971 and today has over 9 million clients in 22 countries around the globe. Opportunity Bank is active in Serbia since 2002, when it was first established as Opportunity Savings Bank which has successfully transformed into a bank in 2007 with the license issued by the National Bank of Serbia.

Opportunity Bank Serbia (OBS) is a Community Bank specialized in microfinance, providing Micro, Rural, Agro and SME loans and other financial services to the clients in Serbia that cannot ordinarily access financial services from traditional banks.

Clients are typically from semi-urban and rural areas of Serbia. The bank specializes in loans to dual-income cottage industries and the agricultural sector. OBS’ mission is to help create jobs, stimulate small businesses and enable the economic transformation of its clients. With a strategically developed branch network, OBS utilizes field-based client advisors (loan officers) to reach clients in remote areas.
